In order to reduce unnecessary waiting period at National Highway toll plazas, Government of India (GOI) has made it compulsory for all vehicles using National Highway toll plazas across India (excluding two and three wheelers) to make toll payments through FASTag which is a windshield RFID electronic device. With this, vehicles crossing National Highway toll plazas will have to pay toll charges using FASTag.
FASTag uses RFID technology where toll payments get directly debited from the account linked to it. FASTag is affixed on the windscreen of vehicles and enables to drive through National Highway toll plazas ensuring continuous movement of vehicles with a comfort of cashless payment of toll fee. It is a one stop solution for a trouble free trip on National Highways. This program is being implemented by IHMCL and NPCI and is currently functional at 500+ National Highway toll plazas across India with a possibility of adding many more toll plazas in future.

Documents required to purchaseFASTag:
- Address proof
- Identity proof
- RC- Registration Certificate of the vehicle
Procedure to apply:
- Applicants can visit nearby Alankit center to apply for FASTag.
- Our representative will inform the applicant about the documentation procedure.
- Once documents are submitted, Alankit will process the application further.
- Within 5-7 days, the applicant can collect his FASTag from Alankit’s centers as per availability.
